Fast Forward To The Future
The year is 2025. Shejin is a well-known and accomplished digital marketer and entrepreneur in India.
It was not easy, and it did not happen by magic for Shejin.
After spending 20 years of his life in the medical transcription industry, he chose to pivot his career to digital marketing in 2020.
At that point, he was serving as an operations manager in the Indian subsidiary of a global business conglomerate.
While his colleagues preferred to stay in their comfort zones, Shejin was always looking out into the horizon for new avenues.
He was drawn to digital marketing as a duck to water.
He found a great mentor in Digital Deepak and learned the ropes quickly in digital marketing. The rest, as they say, is now history.
He now heads Online Money Engine (OME), a digital agency, which caters to the online marketing needs of businesses across the country.
OME is headquartered in Coimbatore. It has grown steadily but surely over the last 5 years.
Boasting a client list close to 500, the company clocked annual revenues to the tune of 6 million in the last financial year.
With branch offices in Bengaluru and Chennai, OME has established an identity for itself in the digital marketing space.
The company offers digital marketing services under one umbrella including but not limited to search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), social media marketing (SMM), lead generation, email marketing, video marketing, affiliate marketing, and content marketing.
It also hosts an online learning platform that is open to students who are interested in learning digital marketing skills.
With its foot now firmly set, OME has set its eyes on expanding further geographically and also by adding more marketing services under its offerings.
Having tasted success himself, Shejin now wants to replicate the same for others around him. To this end, he volunteers to teach students as part of the corporate social responsibility of OME.
